The lamp shade arc is cut from a large sheet of specialty paper, the shade pattern is then applied using one or  more of the following techniques; stenciling, hand painting, silk screening, or by hand drawing the pattern. The next step is to cut  and pierce the design, (most all of our designs are cut &  pierced, piercing is done with a fine needle, totally by hand, one hole at a time, every line that is cut is also cut meticulously by hand). We then assemble the shade using different types of lampshade hardware. The last step is "trimming" the shade with accent ribbon. ALL of these steps are done by hand, we use no machines at any time in the process of making our lampshades.  We have earned a  reputation in the business for our quality, and keeping prices competitive! In this world of mass marketing, there are still a lot of us that care about how well are products are made and offering one on one service to our customers!
