Traditional Trimmed Shade |

Lampshades generally have two trims. The first trim, usually the wider, is what secures the wires to the lampshade material. The second trim is usually a narrow accent trim. |

Laced Shade |
Lampshades are laced directly to the lampshade wire. This is a less formal look than traditionally trimmed shades. | |
