CANNING JAR LAMP: All electrical parts are UL listed, the electric cord for the lamp goes down thru the jar and exits on the back of the jar near the bottom, electric cord is 8' long cord and lamp hardware is solid brass. This canning jar lamp base is filled with our own special blend of "Maine" botanicals, such as globe amaranth, pepper berries, rose buds, hibiscus pods, pine cones and dried wood shavings. (these colors all coordinate with the paint colors on the lampshades.)
We also offer you a choice of "looks" when you purchase a lampshade!!

The traditional look used for trimming a lampshade is when the first trim, usually the wider, is what secures the wires to the lampshade material. The second trim is usually a narrow accent trim, the example shown in the picture to the left is white braid.
Many of you like the look of the hand laced shades... they have a more informal, or rustic feel. Lampshades are laced directly to the lampshade wire. These lacing can range from jute to a heavy cord.
